The Weir Gulch Gardens neighborhood is bounded by West Alameda Avenue to the north, Sheridan Boulevard to the east, West Mississippi Avenue to the south and South Pierce Street to the west. A small rectangular block extends from the southwestern extent to include those homes and businesses bounded by Weir Gulch and Bonfils Stanton Park to the north, Wadsworth Boulevard to the west, and West Mississippi Avenue to the south.

Weir Gulch Gardens Sustainable Neighborhood Initiatives

Gardening and Agriculture
Explore pollinator friendly practices, like the Bee Safe Initiative, as well as other projects related to gardening, urban agriculture and wildlife.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Compost
Educate our neighbors on best practices regarding waste management and organize opportunities to divert waste from the landfill.

Community Building
Strengthen community cohesion, build partnerships and address food justice issues, while keeping a strong focus on diversity, equity and inclusion.
