Communications

We use Facebook, NextDoor, Highland Mommies, etc.;  as well as door-to-door outreach to engage the community. Bilingual speakers needed!

Gardening

Get involved Sister Gardens (of Groundwork Denver) at Aria and backyard gardening practices throughout the neighborhood. Take advantage of urban farming/gardening classes and volunteer workdays.

Healthy Living

Future plans include door-to-door recycling bin/cart signups, how and what to recycle workshop, recycling facility tour, and a recycling fair/festival. All aimed at increasing recycling rates in Chaffee Park-Regis!

Have other interests? Your neighbors do too! Anyone interested in being part of a team that promotes energy efficiency and conservation, alternative energy options such as solar, and more please email SustainableNeighborhoodsDenver@denvergov.org.

You don't have to be on a team to be involved in the program.
Join in on neighborhood projects when you can, we'd love to have you! If you have a project, workshop, or event that you'd like to help plan please email SustainableNeighborhoodsDenver@denvergov.org and we will connect you with other neighbors.
