North City Park - Denver, CO

The North City Park neighborhood joined the Sustainable Neighborhoods Program in February 2014. The neighborhood includes the area bounded by York Street to the west, Colorado Boulevard to the east, West Martin Luther King Boulevard to the north, and East 23rd Avenue to the south.

Connecting Neighbors - Neighbors Connecting
Mission Statement: To facilitate communication and engage neighbors in authentic relationships.
Projects include:
-The City Park Time Bank: a neighborhood service exchange where time is the currency. 
-Active promotion of the project and sustainability issues in the neighborhood newsletter and on Nextdoor.com and Facebook. 
Energy Efficiency & Waste Reduction
Events
Mission Statement: Beautification, Education, and Unification. Let's tie a BEU around the NCP Community!
Projects include:
Back Alley Art Gallery
Urban Agriculture 
Mission Statement: To educate NCP residents in growing food and eating healthy through hands-on workshops and  person-to-person events.
