Program Goal and Target Areas

icons_horizontal

The Sustainable Neighborhoods Program focuses on five broad goal categories and associated target areas. Participating neighborhoods use these goal areas to guide their selection of neighborhood initiatives. The goal categories are: energy, air, water, land and people. These goal areas are intentionally broad in order to encourage participating neighborhoods to be creative when identifying the initiatives and projects that they will work on.

Each participating community has developed its own Goal and Target Areas Brochure with information and suggestions on potential neighborhood projects based on the programs and resources available in their jurisdiction.
