Sustainable Neighborhoods Program Bike Ride

Lakewood’s Sustainable Neighborhoods Program is teaming up with the Lakewood Bicycle Advisory Team (LBAT) to lead Lakewood's first Sustainable Neighborhoods Program Bike Ride!

Enjoy a leisurely-paced group ride led by experienced ride leaders from LBAT. You can join the ride at any of the meet-up locations and enjoy a tour through four Sustainable Neighborhoods where you’ll learn about the exciting neighborhood-led projects completed by Lakewood residents as part of the Sustainable Neighborhoods Program. 

Light refreshments will be provided at each stop, including LARABAR snacks and fruit. Free bike checks will be available at one of the stops and all riders will receive a FREE bike bell!

FAQ's

Is a helmet required?
Yes! Helmets are required for all riders. 

Can kids join?
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The minimum recommended age is 10 years old.

What should I bring?
All riders must have a helmet. A water bottle, light jacket, and spare tube are recommended.

Will there be refreshments?
Light refreshments, including LARABAR snacks and fruit, will be served at each stop.

How long is the ride?
Expect a two hour ride to complete your loop at a leisurely pace and return to your starting point.

Who is leading the ride?
Skilled ride leaders from the Lakewood Bicycle Advisory Team will lead the group. At each stop, neighborhood participants will highlight exciting projects and initiatives in their Sustainable Neighborhood.
